Hi, Ron C. Flemal, I found on RootsWeb’s WorldConnect Project PenBelGen:
19th Century Belgian Residents of Door Peninsula, Wisconsin, Edmund E. SOMMERFELD,
born 14 MAY 1894 in Wisconsin, died SEP 1978 in Green Bay, Brown County, Wisconsin.
Can you tell me more about Edmund and the SOMMERFELD family line ?
Who was his wife ? His mother and father ? There are children ? Brothers or sisters ?

Greetings Dieter:

Your English is excellent. It is much better than my German, which I studied forty years ago.
Please allow me to communicated in English.

I have not studied the SOMMERFELD(T) family of Green Bay.
My research is focused on the Belgians of the Green Bay area,
and Edmund E. SOMMERFELD occurs in my database because he married
a woman of Belgian origin named Victoria LEURQUIN.

However, I do have access to many records of the Green Bay area,
and will be pleased to examine these records and try to learn more about Edmund's line.

By separate emails I will send you copies of the 1930 U.S. census from parts of the Green Bay area
on which SOMMERFELD(T) families are listed. One includes Edmund's family (Edmund, wife, and one son).
The second lists two SOMMERFELD(T) households, which I believe list an extend SOMMERFELD family.
Perhaps Edmund is related to this extended family.

I will send these census sheets separately because they are quite large files. They are in jpg format.
They must be large, to allow them to be read.
Please let me know if you have any difficulties receiving or reading the files.
