My Great Grand Father Michael SOMMERFELD was born in province Posen,
probably Skoki area (Schokken) on April 23, 1836.
Michael SOMMERFELD was married to Pauline SCHULTZ who was born in 1839
(I do not know where she was born).
I do not know if she and my great grandfather were married before or after they immigrated to Texas.

Michael and his brothers Gottlieb and Wilhelm SOMMERFELD immigrated to Washington County Texas in 1869.

I am hoping to find out who Michaels parents were and where they came from bevore they moved to Posen.
I am very hopeful that you can help me.

Michael SOMMERFELD was her great grandfather as well. She has provided
me with some unverified information. I am sending this information to see
if this matches any recordst hat you might have:

Johann Michael SOMMERFELD married Louise NEUMANN in Prussia.

William SOMMERFELD * 1830.
Michael SOMMERFELD * 1836 - my ggfather.
Christopher SOMMERFELD * 1841.

At least William & Michael came to US in 1860's - Washington C., TX.
