About Max Sommerfeld.

Max and wife Lena (Loewy) lived in Schneidemühl with their children. Max
was Manager of the FEA Werk, a significant part of the Sommerfeld business,
producing wood-based products. He may also have been responsible for a
couple of smaller operations in the area: A small brick factory at Bergenhorst
on the edge of town and a sawmill at Dragemühl about 60 kms to the West.
The FEA factory still exists today and is now part of Philips Lighting Poland.

Max Sommerfeld and wife Lena nee Loewy left to move to Palestine in 1933.
