Gottfried (Fred) SOMMERFELD.( Great-great Grandfather of Ben Jacobitz.)

Died: June 23, 1913 at Blue Hill, Nebraska.
Married: Caroline Henrietta PRESCHER.
Married on Feb. 15, 1874 an Varna, Marshal County, Illinois.
Born: Oct. 24, 1852 in Posen.
Came to America: 1873.
Deceased: June 25, 1947 in Wray, Colorado.
They are buried in Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Note: According an Obituary, John, Hermann an Fred also had a half-brother Fred RADKE, who lived in Minnesota.

As for Emil SOMMERFELD, he was Gottfried and Caroline's son who lived in Winona, Minnesota, for many Years.

I would love to see sources for this information. We have been trying to find
Hermann Sommerfeld's parents for years, and it is wonderful to see information
on both parents and siblings. (Hermann Sommerfeld is my great-great grandfather.)

Please, if you have primary sources you would be able to scan and either post
or send to me, I would truly appreciate it. Any information would be wonderful.
The information my family already has fits with your information, but I would
still love sources if you can send them or tell me where to find them.
