Hallo Dieter, wie geht es Ihnen ?
I am still searching for the birthplace of my grandfather
Valentin SOMMERFELD born in 1866 Austria or Prussia.
I know he served in the german army because I have a picture of
him in the german army.
So far after six years I am not making any head way, I will kept trying.
I am learning to speak German.

I would appreciate your help trying to locate my grandfathers birth place and if he had any brothers and sisters.
