The old name of Wylatkowo was Waldfelden.
Wylatkowo, Schidlitz and Gnesen are villages,
only some miles or km from village to village.

Gnesen / Gniezno is a town and a district (in german: Kreis)
of many villages. More districts are a Regierungsbezirk.
It's like a department. More departments together are a Provinz,
like Provinz Posen and more provinces together are the state Prussia / Preußen
(= the old name of germany before WW II).

Thank you for your quick response. Thank you for the old emails.
I found my cousin's notes on her research and thought I should ask about
them immediately. I am trying to research if the two NÖRENBERG surnames
could be sisters or of some relation.

I have the information on Max SOMMERFELD from you previously which has
helped me greatly back to that generation.
