My husband's family (Sommerfeld) arrived in the US from Posen we believe around 1881.
The only info I've ever gotten was from US 1920 Census.
They immigrated to Detroit, Michigan.
I believe their names were John F. SOMMERFELD his wife Christina L. nee KUHN
and their, son Julius E. SOMMERFELD.
Unfortunately I wasn't fortunate enough to get any information from my father-in-law
before he passed away about his family.
